Outside the Ministry of Uncertain Things, Air Vice-Marshal Marriott and his new bride arrived with their friends to a fanfare of supporters, journalists and fellow airmen. Support for the new couple was jolly, as was to be expected. They were met at the Ministry HQ by Wing Commander Buckley and Flying Ace Logan "Pip" Marriott for official photos and to greet the amassing crowds.
